Spring 2009 Newsletter
Welcome to our Spring newsletter for 2009, already we are half way through the 3rd. Term  and the years seem to to be flying by as we as a tour company, continue to transport large numbers of your students to and from their various  hands on excursions many different lines of study.

This year has been a eventful year for us with Tyne McMillan our cadet finishing her apprenticeship and then departing for a working holiday in her mum’s native country England , we wish her well as she gains further experience in travel.

Tabatha, our office manager gave birth this year to a baby girl (Gemma Alison) a sister for Caitlin both are doing very well.

We now have a new lady in the office, Natalie Loveridge who works two days Monday and Friday, as this gives Tabatha some time at home with her children.

Our fleet of 5 coaches are all running well and reliably  1x67 seat, 1x61seat, 2x53 seat and 1x21 seat vehicles all of which are seat belted for the safe carriage of your students these are available for hire to any destination throughout Australia.

For those schools who are still requiring camping tours our Safari trailer is fully equipped with tents, stoves, refrigerators, freezers, hot plates and cooking gear.   The trailer can also be stripped out and used as a bulk luggage trailer.

Our driving staff are all highly trained professionals with many in excess of 25 years experience driving many types of tour coaches.  They are currently being further trained in terrorism even though  our industry is classified as very low risk we still need to be  prepared how to recognise this problem.

We have added some new and varied excursions these past 2 years including Ned Kelly Tour – Gold at Sovereign Hill – Open cut Coal Mining in the Hunter Valley region & various music tours to Brisbane & east coast visiting a number of schools for performances & workshops.

This year we would like to offer to schools and the P&C groups, a member of our staff to visit your school or meeting to give a short talk on what we do as a tour company how we put 2 & 3 day + excursions together, what we have had to do to become accredited operators and the record keeping that is required to maintain a paper trail for auditing purposes.

For those schools that have not taken advantage of our service, please contact our friendly staff for an obligation free quote on all your requirements, this can be done by phone fax or email and a quote will be returned to you within a very short period of time.  Our contact numbers are printed at the top of this newsletter or are available on the web at bronzewingtours.info were you are able to view our many and varied extended excursions Australia wide under the heading education tours.

Our Carbon Footprint:
This is a long term commitment which started in 2006, with the purchase of our new vehicle of Euro 3 configuration.
In December we updated our older vehicles to Euro 1 configuration which makes it more fuel efficient and also gives it a cleaner burn (no smoke) thus improving the environment.
This now leaves us with one more vehicle to up grade.
This does make us a little more expensive however it makes our future the winner.
